What Kvantia Harness is
Kvantia Harness is software that supervises AI while it does repetitive office work — reports, data checks, document handling and email. It runs on a computer your business controls and connects to the AI provider you choose (Claude or GPT, for example) using your own account or key.
The difference from an ordinary AI chat is control. Every task gets only the permissions it actually needs: the named files, mailbox, database or API. Irreversible actions — sending, changing records, deleting, signing — wait for the responsible person. If data conflicts or a source is missing, Harness stops and asks one precise question instead of guessing.
Every run leaves a readable record: what the AI read, which tools it used, what it did and what it queued for approval. Files, credentials and the audit history stay on your machine. The full product, its security model and the documentation are at kvantia.app.
Control that is built in, not promised
Harness is not another AI chat. It is the layer that decides what the AI may touch and where it has to stop.
Default deny
Out of the box the agent can do nothing. Each capability is a switch you turn on — if it is off, that ability does not exist for the agent.
Human approval gates
Sending, spending, deleting and signing queue up and wait for a person — this holds even when the routine runs overnight.
A readable audit record
Every task records what the agent read, which tools it used, what it did and what it queued for approval. The record stays on your machine.
Tasks and scheduled routines
Work arrives two ways: a person sends a task by email or through your task system, or a saved procedure starts on a schedule.
Pauses instead of guessing
If data conflicts, a source is missing or the scope would change, the run stops at that step and asks — the answer stays attached to the same task.
Credentials out of the model
The agent signs in through a broker, by name. Your real passwords and API keys are never placed in the model’s context or shown to it.
The controlled path — from request to result
A task inside Harness goes through six steps. At each one it is clear what happens and where the work can stop.
01 / 06 — Task received
Work arrives by email or from your task system. Harness turns it into one traceable task and keeps the original message attached.
02 / 06 — Harness routes it
It identifies the expected result, the permitted sources and the delivery channel, selects the matching skill and checks that the task is clear.
03 / 06 — Controlled execution
Only the sources and actions this task needs are opened. The AI works inside that boundary while every source and action is recorded.
04 / 06 — A question during the work
If data conflicts or a source is missing, the run stops at the current step and asks one precise question. The answer is recorded and work continues from the same place.
05 / 06 — Control point
Harness validates the result. Sending, changing records, deleting or signing waits for the responsible person when approval is required.
06 / 06 — Result delivered
The report, reply, update or exception list returns to the named recipient together with a readable activity record.
Where it is used
The best fit is work that keeps repeating, whose inputs are known, and where a person owns the exceptions.
The shared info@ inbox
Incoming mail is understood and routed: junk aside, the message forwarded to the right colleague, or the work registered in your CRM. Anything unclear waits for a person instead of being quietly discarded.
Finance
Supplier invoices are read, checked for duplicates and matched against approved purchase data, with exceptions held for review. Finance still approves every payment.
HR and sales
CV screening against agreed criteria, CRM updates and follow-ups — without the manual step in between.
Recurring reports
Weekly and monthly reports are prepared from the permitted sources and delivered to the configured recipients together with the run record.

Prices exclude VAT. AI-provider usage is billed separately by the provider you connect.
